About the business and the role

This progressive business is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and support of a number of clinical studies in Australasia. As a Clinical Trials Administrator you will provide operational support and assist with coordination and administration of a number of activities and projects . You will provide assistance to Clinical and Administration personnel as required. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Assist in co-ordination and administration of clinical studies from the start-up to execution and close-out.
  • Contact investigators, study coordinators and other site staff on behalf of clinical personnel when required.
  • Coordinate the receipt, distribution, tracking and destruction of clinical supplies for the Clinical Research group.
  • Coordinate the archiving of completed studies.
  • Contribute to the production and maintenance of study documents, ensuring template and version compliance.
  • Responsible for printing and distribution of documents such as letters and meeting minutes, and for handling and archiving of study related e-mails.
  • Translate or give the appropriate support with the translation of documents when required.  
  • Ensure regular updating of clinical tracking systems as appropriate.
  • Ensure that deadlines for assigned projects and tasks are met.
  • Attend Clinical Research Meetings and internal meetings as required

Skills and experience

  • Advanced knowledge of general office software packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is expected.
  • Preferably a Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences 
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous administrative experience in a similar setting would be highly regarded
