Kingston Building Australia is one of the largest and most awarded building companies in Newcastle. We are looking for a repair coordinator to join our team. The role will encompass all facets of the building industry from data entry, scheduling/co-ordinating trades/suppliers, budgeting through to reporting and customer service.

As a repair coordinator you will provide a high standard of administrative support to the business. Although on the job training is provided for our in-house systems, an understanding of the building industry is highly advantageous. Your high attention to detail, along with previous experience providing a high level of support with a focus on offering a high quality of work in a high volume environment will ensure your success in this busy role. The successful candidate will be required to be highly organised and able to multitask, as well as work well under pressure. This is a purely office based role suitable to an ambitious administrator looking for career progression.

To be the successful candidate we are looking for you must have the following.. Please address each point in your cover letter.

  • Strong computer skills, working with Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to manage relationships in and outside of the company.
  • Able to handle a busy environment and ability to handle pressure professionally and calmly
  • Demonstrated methodical approach to work as a part of a fast paced team.
  • Previous experience working with personal and team KPI's and SLA's
  • A "can do attitude" is essential
  • Flexibility is a must, to meet business demands when needed

The successful candidate will ideally (although not essential) possess the following:

  • Previous Building experience - minimum 2 years experience within building industry
  • Proven skills in reading and interpreting scopes and understanding building terminology
