Professional Certification Group is seeking a full time Building Administration Officer to be part of its team in our Chermside Office.

Key Responsibilities

To provide admin support to building certifiers and cadets by preparing new building applications ready for certification such as:

  • Receiving and checking building applications for completeness, and calculating fees;
  • Undertaking property searches, submitting minor applications and preparing purchase orders to government bodies;
  • Liaising with government bodies to ensure property searches and minor applications are processed in a timely manner;
  • Ensuring all statutory time limits for completing administrative tasks related to certification are achieved;
  • Preparing related correspondence to clients and government bodies;
  • Providing general advice to clients about the application process;
  • Lodge application and inspection documents, and relevant details onto the company's software package;
  • Foster a positive and professional working relationship with clients; and
  • Providing ad hoc reception duties.

Skills and Experience

  • You must have experience in the building industry;
  • You must have strong communication skills and be well organised; and
  • You must be able to use computers proficiently.
