About the role
In the role of Billing Officer your main responsibility is to ensure the precision of our bills along with providing proficient and effective support to the residential natural gas customer. Our team is embedded within the front line of the business, continuously striving to provide extraordinary service to our growing customer base. Reporting to your Team Leader, this is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your analytic skills and experience to make an impact in this position.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing all duties in accordance with our compliance requirements.
Resolving billing exceptions and assisting front line staff with billing enquiries.
Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
Prepare and present analytical reports.
Perform pricing tasks.
Key tester for billing and pricing changes or improvements.
To excel in the role you’ll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this position means:
Expertise in billing within the Energy Industry.
A high degree of attention to detail and well-developed interpersonal skills.
To be able to prioritise time-sensitive tasks effectively.
Proactively participating in continuous improvements.
Flexibility working within business hours.
Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
