Motors Hobart are undergoing some positive transformation and a unique opportunity has arisen for a driven individual with a strong background in administration and flair for customer service to join our team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in previous administration / PA roles and have a proactive approach to support the senior management team, whilst being the face of our business for all visitors when they enter the showroom.

This role is more than just ‘answering phones’, it’s a Dealership Ambassador and we are looking for you to help set the tone and pace.

Some of your daily duties as a Front of House / Assistant will included but not limited to:

  • Daily reception and housekeeping duties - phones, mail, café area
  • Hosting & directing guests - customers, suppliers, manufacturers etc
  • Document preparation - using Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Facilities Support - liaising with tradespeople, cleaning contractors etc
  • Supporting activities & events such as customer evenings, model launches, special sales etc
  • General assistance for our new, used, finance, service and parts managers
To be successful in meeting the expectations of these role, you will need:
  • High levels of customer orientation and desire to win by doing things the right way
  • Friendly, energetic, mature and positive nature
  • An unquestionable level of integrity
  • Strong daily self-disciplines, a proactive mindset and ability to make things happen
  • Strong attention to detail in both personal grooming and administrative tasks
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills, ability to manage multiple diaries and multitask
With a supportive local management team, you will have the opportunity to really own this role and make a positive impact for managers, staff and customers alike. Experience in the automotive industry and administrative support roles will be highly regarded.
