  • 'Can Do' attitude - assist in all aspects of administration as required 
  • Full time role but flexible working arrangements available eg 7.30am-3.30pm

The Office/Payroll administrator provides day to day administrative support for the smooth running of the office and the processing of payroll for their contractor base. The nature of the work requires the incumbent to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion when dealing with all people and it needs to be conducted in a professional and efficient manner. 

This position will work closely with the other senior staff and also provide support and resources to the wider team. 
 
Based in Port Melbourne, your job responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of the payroll in line with current Enterprise Agreements, contracts and policies and procedures
  • Assist with company statutory requirements such as Work Cover, Payroll Tax, PAYG
  • General administrative and clerical support: reception, mail, filing, archiving etc
  • Dealing with queries from the public, customers and staff
  • Maintaining stationery supplies
  • Maintain employee records/personal files on payroll related matters
  • Other administrative tasks as required

The preferred candidate will have payroll experience and will have a history of accuracy and a broad understanding of office administration.
