The Administration and Facilities Officer provides general switchboard, reception and administrative support to staff and clients at our head office in Mount Gambier, as well as providing support for the corporate services teams as required.

About you:

  • Experience in a busy reception/switchboard environment
  • High level of communication skills (listening, verbal and written), including the ability to establish rapport and maintain a positive relationship with clients and other service providers
  • Ability to work with and be sensitive to the needs of different genders and cultural groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a cooperative member of a team to achieve team objectives.
  • Ability to foster a welcoming and non-judgemental office environment
  • High level of conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite of software
  • Ability to handle all enquiries with diplomacy, tact, empathy and strict confidentiality
