The Opportunity

The Supplier Relations team is expanding and we are now looking for two Contract Administrators to manage the commercial aspects of construction, maintenance and plant contracts post award.  This will include the development of contract administration plans, and the facilitation of contractual start up and close out activities.  The roles will work closely with internal personnel and contracted service providers to drive performance and deliver value for money to our customers.

The Role

The Contract Administrator is responsible for the provision of contract administration support in accordance with all relevant business procedures, guidelines and work instructions.  The role will provide practical advice on how to manage contracts, interpret and deal with contractual issues, and provide advice in the assessment of variations, delays, and defects.  The role will also play a key function in monitoring supplier/contractor performance by trending key performance indicators, identifying and implement improvements through ElectraNet’s Supplier Relationship Management process.

About You

You will have a degree in a relevant field such as Business or Commerce. Your experience will include administration of procurement contracts for construction and maintenance based activities, contracting to Australian standards and other relevant terms and conditions, as well as demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills.

You will need to be a passionate professional who is highly motivated to build key supplier relationships to deliver great outcomes for ElectraNet and our customers.
