Our client specialises in business standards, assisting organisations world-wide to operate at their highest efficiency. They provide outstanding service to their customers ensuring they can help them improved efficiency, achieve sustainable growth and reduce risk.
 
Due to growth, they are looking for a Tender Manager to join their team based in Macquarie Park.
As a Tender Manager you will be managing the tender activities of the business by communicating with key stakeholders to deliver solutions to meet customer needs.
 
Reporting through to the General Manager of Sales and Marketing your duties as a Tender Manager will include:
  • Identifying strategies and preparing a tender plan, ensuring all tenders are acted upon whilst meeting deadlines
  • Ensuring required documentation is returned from internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring customers changing needs and reporting through to the sales management team
  • Managing customer relationships throughout the tender process
  • Creating tender documentation templates and manage documents on the database
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase the number of request for tenders
  • Supporting the GM of Sales and Marketing and the Sales team to identify new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the Operations and Finance team for effective delivery of services
  • Managing and presenting reports when required
As the successful Tender Manager, you will display the following attributes:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role managing and producing tenders
  • Previous experience using Salesforce and SAP would be advantageous
  • Strong speed and urgency in communication skills, both written and oral
  • You will have a client first mindset with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • A passion and goal to build a career in sales
