DACS Air-conditioning and Electrical currently have a position available in an established family owned company based in Como. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and dynamic team member to join our team in a flexible role of office all-rounder/administrator.  Experience in the Air Conditioning or Electrical fields is essential.


The roles and responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling works for up to 10 employees, and following these through to completion including ordering parts, organizing payment

  • Assist Accounts Payable and Receivable using XERO

  • General Customer Service and Support

  • Involvement in general admin and reception duties including answering the phone, greeting visitors, checking and replying to emails, chasing accounts, processing payment.

  • General Office and Administration Duties

  • Data Entry & Document Management

  • Office Presentation and Up-keep

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Experience in a similar position in air conditioning and/or electrical is required

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills including Editing and Proof Reading

  • Experience with previous accounting packages such as XERO

  • Computer proficiency with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 2010

  • Exceptional Telephone Manner

  • Excellent Time Management Skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Self-motivated & willing to take initiative and Responsibility for Tasks

  • Ability to multi task

  • Have a cheerful and friendly disposition


As the position is as an "office all-rounder", the applicant would be required to be efficient in all aspects of office administration and job scheduling and be able to switch roles within the office with others. We are a small business and the office staff is between 2 and 3 people depending on the season and therefore how busy we are, adapting to working alone or in a team is essential.  Position is for 6 month contract with the potential for full time role to follow.
