Our client is a 3PL Warehousing and Distribution Provider based in Brisbane. They have two operations one based at Carole Park, the other located at Rocklea. Due to the rapid and continuous expansion of the company the team at Carole Park are currently looking to engage a fulltime Fleet Controller.

This is a very hand’s on role that will require the successful applicant to support the team were necessary including the loading of trucks. Suitable applicants will have a strong understanding of the logistics environment including pre load monitoring and how to create runs.

You will be responsible for small fleet management of 9 full time drivers and approximatly 2-3 subbies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load pre advise
• Stock designation
• Forklift operations desirable
• Manifest of freight
• Fleet movement and allocation
• Maximising fleet productivity
• Verifying accuracy of freight loaded
• Working with TeleTrak - previous experience desirable
• Working with Carton Cloud technology – training will be provided

The successful applicant will need to have the flexibility to work longer hours as required by the business. If you're looking for a 9 to 5 job, this is not for you. You will generally start at 6AM and due to the fast-paced and high demand nature of the job, you might only finish at 6-7PM. This a salaried position in which you earn 65K/year + super + company car.
