About Us
AWH has been handling Australia's wool since 1998. While we have diversified our services over the years, wool is still at the heart of what we do. There is now an opportunity to join our dedicated and hard-working team as a Customer Service Officer at our Lara site.
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing quality customer service and facilitating administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Entering wool specifications into our system
- Lotting wool
- Liaising with our customers to resolve issues
- Sales processing
- Facilitating deliveries
- Cross training in other areas such as cotton and dry bulk
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and administration. You will have:
- The ability to provide high levels of customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Wool industry experience would be an advantage
