Office Administration Assistant

MPE Electrical Contracting is a family owned business that has been trading for over 30 years. This is a great opportunity for a talented and motivated office administration assistant who shares this same ethos and aspires to be part of a great team.

About the role:

Working closely with our Office Administration Manager and Office Administration Assistant, as well as a team of directors and trade professionals, this role is part time (approx 16 hours per week) and includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day running of the office
  • Receipting of Purchase Order Supplier Invoices
  • Ensuring all supplier invoices are signed by the relevant authorised person
  • Filing
  • Customer service
  • Administrative support to  staff
  • Liaising with/coordinating on-site staff
  • Preparation and formatting of various reports
  • Social media and mail out responsibilities
  • Ad-hoc duties as requested

About you:

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A presentable appearance, pleasant nature and positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of SimPRO job system software is advantageous but not essential
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Perfect verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
  • High standards of attention to detail
  • Good team player with interpersonal and organisation skills
  • Social media and marketing knowledge preferable
