Lennon Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd (LE&C) established in 1989 and is wholly Australian owned and operated company specialising in engineering and construction solutions in the Petro-Chemical Industry.

Lennon Engineering and Construction employs qualified and accredited engineers, tradesmen and pressure welders ensuring best practices in meeting industry, safety and environmental standards.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Manager to join the Lennon Engineering team. As the Administration Manager you will be ensuring the business administration systems and processes are delivered efficiently and effectively.

To be successful in this role you will provide superior customer service with a positive and enthusiastic approach to meet the customer’s and business needs. Your demonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst managing all administrative aspects of the business, including job and resource coordination, procurement, sub-contractor management and HSEQ systems combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritise your work will make you a prime candidate for this role.

Key knowledge and skills required for the role;

  • Strong demonstrated administration skills in a small to medium size business
  • Strong Excel Spread sheeting skills
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word)
  • Procurement processes / skills
  • Scheduling & service team organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of regional Queensland and Northern NSW geography
  • Fuel Industry maintenance services knowledge is desirable
  • Payroll, Human Resources & HSSE working knowledge
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be self-managed
  • Excellent customer relationship skills – strong focus on service
  • Demonstrated ability to manage quality processes and ensure adherence
  • Demonstrated Accounts Receivable and Payable Skills

Other requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of WorkflowMax (Job Management tool) and Xero (accounting software) will be highly regarded
  • Must have own transport
  • Must have an open ‘C’ class license
  • Must be flexible with working hours within a normal working day
