Where you'll be working

Sydney Local Health District is home to Royal Prince Alfred, Concord, Balmain, Canterbury and Sydney Dental Hospitals. We offer a range of clinical services through our clinics and in our community, near and in people?s homes including Aboriginal Health, Aged Care and Rehabilitation, Allied Health, Drug Health, Oral Health, Community Nursing and Early Childhood Services, Population Health and Mental Health. We also have a range of support teams and services to help deliver the very best health care services to our community.


What you'll be doing

To develop future health service managers/leaders that are well prepared for a rewarding and challenging career in health management in the Sydney Local health district and the wider NSW Health system.

Selection Criteria

  • Possess an undergraduate degree from a recognised University (to check your qualifications are recognised please contact the University of Tasmania directly).
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and interest in a career in public health management
  • Demonstrate well developed and effective written communication skills
  • Demonstrate well developed and effective verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills
