St Vincent’s Private Melbourne is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Executive Assistant to join us on a part time basis. The role will be responsible for providing professional administrative and general support and personal assistance to the Medical Director and the Executive Committee of St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne. They will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Medical Director’s office, contributing towards the key goals and objectives in line with the organisation’s mission and values whilst providing excellence in service.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Provide high standards of clerical and administrative support
- Provide clerical / typing support to the Medical Director and the Executive Team
- Answer telephones and direct messages promptly and courteously
- Manage the credentialing program C-Gov
- Ensure that the Accredited Medical Practitioner (AMP) Register (IBA & C-gov) Databases are accurately maintained and the information is readily available
Key selection criteria including;
- Previous Personal Assistant / Administrative experience
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Strong administrative skills and proficiency with MS Office
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Medical terminology (desirable)
