The Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) is the Peak body for organisations providing community mental health services throughout NSW. MHCC Learning & Development (LD) is a registered training organisation delivering mental health training to workers within the mental health community sector. Our commitment to superior training and assessment services can only be met by employing equally outstanding staff.

MHCC is looking for highly motivated Administration Officer to provide support to the Manager, Learning and Development 2-3 days per week. With a strong commitment to quality and an innovative approach, this person’s “can do” attitude and excellent people skills will fit well in our dynamic, team focused environment.

The Learning and Development Administration Officer is responsible for:

  • Supporting the Manager LD in undertaking Business and Partnership Development activities
  • Ensuring responses to enquiries and provision of requested quotes are provided in a timely manner
  • Monitoring outcome of quotes and liaising with internal staff to ensure delivery of quoted services

MHCC are seeking an individual who has demonstrated attention to detail; has excellent oral and written communication skills; the ability to ‘think on their feet and outside the box’; multi-task priorities with exceptional planning and organisation skills; and is innovative with a high level of self-motivation and interest in continual learning.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working within a training environment and the community sector or human services areas.

Criteria

  • Previous administration experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and capacity to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in an RTO or Training environment and an understanding of Training Packages is desirable but a willingness to learn is essential

Job benefits and perks

Remuneration packaging includes base salary of $55-$60k (pro rata) based on experience, plus super guarantee contribution, FBT salary packaging and entertainment benefits under our Public Benevolent Institution status available. MHCC offers a flexible working environment.
