Our Patient Services Team have several vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital’s Admissions and Reception.
As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
- Manage a busy reception desk
- Answer and redirect calls
- Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork
- Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical record
- Perform Health Fund Checks as required
- Manage the collection of excesses/co payments
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
Located on Malvern Road in Prahran, The Victoria Clinic is a 52 patient-bed private psychiatric facility that specialises in the provision of high quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services. All treatments offered are aimed at helping people improve their psychological and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment. Individuals are exposed to a variety of therapeutic, recreational and occupational activities as a means of restoring health.
The Victoria Clinic offers a supportive and friendly environment with professional development opportunities. It is close to public transport, has free onsite parking and is close to Chapel Street restaurants and shopping.
Selection Criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Works well independently and within a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
- WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
