About Us:

Since our inception over 28 years ago, Buildcorp has grown as a construction business founded on family values and collaborative partnerships. Today, Buildcorp consists of four teams, each with its own area of specialisation, operating across Australia’s east coast. We service a wide variety of clients with projects spanning many disciplines of commercial construction, including: new build construction, building refurbishment, building upgrades, fit-out, remedial building, and architectural joinery.


What we’re looking for in you:

We are seeking a highly competent, motivated and professional Personal Assistant to provide exceptional organisational and administrative support to the General Managers of our business units.

This is an exciting and diverse role with the successful candidate operating across a wide variety of stakeholders, tasks and accountabilities. Given this, as our ideal candidate you will have high levels of forward thinking, flexibility, delivery orientation and initiative. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being a genuine and supportive team member!


In this role you will:

  • Undertake Personal Assistant duties for the General Managers to ensure they fully optimise their time, including proactive and forward-thinking diary management
  • Anticipate and effectively manage any issues that arise, help manage workload and ensure that both roles are well prepared in advance for meetings and deadlines
  • Assist with the production of reports, external company documents and presentations to a consistently high standard
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, clients and other related bodies
  • Coordinate company sponsored events from set up to post event follow up and use your exceptional networking skills to ensure our guests have an enjoyable experience
  • Assist in the preparation of papers and presentations for internal and external meetings, including Board and Committee meetings
  • Coordinate travel bookings for all employees – (domestic and international)
  • Provide other secretarial and administrative support as required, including reception relief and compilation of tender and submission documentation


The successful candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including proofreading capabilities
  • Exhibit excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills – clear evidence of proactive diary management is a must have!
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Have an ability to work to deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous experience with InDesign and Salesforce will be highly regarded
