You’re results focused and have a past of helping individuals or groups increase their productivity because of your support and good organising. You’re now looking for a flexible, part time role working in an innovative, leading and expanding practice that will value your initiative and drive.

You will be supporting the Managing Director who is a remarkable, hard working, determined, inspiring, tough but fair individual. You’ll have to be thick skinned and focused on the big picture. She is one of Australia’s leading authorities on educational planning and design. As an expert in her field with an entrepreneurial spirit, she is also an engaging public speaker and facilitator in creative thinking and social system design.

You’ll need to become as close to a mind reader as possible; organising, making decisions (within reason) and getting things done before they even know they need it.

You’ll be making the MD more efficient and focused, and this should reflect in more time and space for the MD to create and ultimately, increased sales and business growth.

The role can be quite varied and sometimes last minute decisions will need you to jump in and handle emergencies to keep things running smoothly.

Located in Darlinghurst (5 mins from Sydney CBD), JDH Architects is one of the most dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary architectural, and interior design practices in Sydney as well as a leader in the design of educational facilities. 

Training and handover will be provided from a senior manager to help you get established however you’ll need to be fairly confident to start taking control.

The role can be tough, challenging and fun at the same time, and in return provide you a very rewarding opportunity.

You will be using systems including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook so you will need to ensure you are up to speed before you start.
