As the first point of contact for the CEO’s office you are in control of first impressions. Therefore, you will be a professionally presented receptionist that has an excellent telephone manner and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Due to internal promotion this temporary role has become available with an immediate start. Initially an 8 week assignment with the potential to extend for the right candidate. This role will suit candidates from large corporate organisations, concierge roles or a guest services background.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Meeting and greeting clients and guests
  • Coordinate meetings and board room conferences
  • Book travel, conference registrations and accommodation
  • Maintain a tidy and functional reception area
  • Collect and deliver mail daily
  • Maintain a tidy kitchen area
  • Manage office and kitchen consumables
  • Arrange mail and courier services
  • Word processing of documents such as letters and reports
  • Arrange maintenance and repairs for the office
  • Administrative support for Executive Assistant and CEO

Essential requirements to be considered for this role include:

  • Proven experience in a reception and front facing role
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • A high level of accuracy, literacy and attention to detail
  • Genuine enjoyment for dealing with people!
  • Mature and professional approach to work
  • An enthusiastic approach with sound organisational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and keep your cool under pressure
  • Willingness to adapt to different situations and tasks on a day-to-day basis
