We are a fast growing Accounting and Business Advisory firm in Essendon. We provide a comprehensive range of financial services to our rapidly expanding client base including Accounting & Taxation, Business advisory, Self Managed Super, Financial Planning, Wealth Creation and Succession Planning.

The role:

Your role will be to support our dynamic team and learn progressively so that you may enjoy continued professional growth with our firm as we grow. Experience in a similar role at an accounting practice is essential.

The tasks will include:

  • Reception duties, 
  • Diary management,
  • Attending to all incoming and outgoing mail and emails,
  • Completion of client and staff ATO portal queries,
  • Setting up of entities, ABN, TFN and GST registrations,
  • Completing all ASIC requirements for clients (BGL CAS 360),
  • Scanning, filing and binding of documents,
  • Management of ATO lodgements and ensuring all client deadlines are achieved,
  • Preparation of invoices, including management of Ezidebit,
  • Ad hoc duties as requested.

This position will provide you with direct access and mentoring with our managing director who has over 20 years Accounting and Financial services experience. 

The Ideal Applicant:

You need to have previously worked in an accounting practice. Unfortunately if you do not have experience in a previous practice you will not be considered. 

You must have a high degree for attention to detail. Experience with APS, BGL, Docusign, Ezidebit, ATO Portal, XPlan, and/or Xero would be advantageous.  

A willingness to listen and carry out client works outlined for you by our team.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are non-negotiable and an expert level of verbal English (clear speaking voice) attributes non-negotiable.

This role is Monday - Friday 9 am to 5.15pm.
