Receptionist/Office Administration

We are an organisation based in Surry Hills. We are looking for a Receptionist/Office Administrator, option part-time 35 hours or full time 38 hours. Responsible for a small business office.  Our organisation has been established for over 30 years and provides our members with examination dance syllabi for use in their dance studios.

Key Responsibilities include

·         Providing a warm and welcoming experience to all clients and visitors

      ·         Answering and distributing all incoming calls and taking accurate and detailed messages

·         Managing all in and outbound correspondence

·         Developing and improving office procedures to support the objectives of the business 

·         Invoicing and accounts support

·         Managing ASIC details and updates for clients

·         Managing office and kitchen supplies and staff breakout area hygiene

            .         Printing and copying

            .         Receiving, assembling and sending postal orders

            .         Data entry

Key Requirements include:

  • ·         Advanced Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills 
  • ·         Confident and capable in the use of MYOB
  • ·         Experience working with multiple projects
  • ·         The capacity to empathise with clients, remain calm under pressure and maintain confidentiality
  • ·         Proactive attitude with the desire to improve processes and procedures
  • ·         Strong values and ethics consistent with our company values
  •      .          Possessing the ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking environment.        
  •         .            The ability to work independently in a small workplace situation with limited co-workers.
  •       .           Being passionate about providing great service and proactive by nature, having strong organisation skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage a varied and fast paced role in a small office.
