My client is a young and dynamic, multifaceted commercial builder, located centrally in Collingwood.
 
We have a vacancy for a self-motivated, well presented Office Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. The role will be based front of house, is varied and involves providing high level bookkeeping and administrative services for a team of 25.

You will be a well presented individual with excellent organisational and time management skills, have the ability to work unsupervised and pride yourself on having a can do attitude.

You will be responsible for:
  • Day to day management of the bookkeeping functions including Debtors / Creditors / Debt Collection and Statutory Worker Entitlements. 
  • HR functions including Employment, Training, Sick Leave, Holiday Leave, Long Service, Superannuation, etc
  • With limited direction be responsible for the preparation of basic administrative letters(internal/external) for and on behalf of the company
  • Meeting and greeting clients and guests and answering incoming calls
  • Create new or streamline existing procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Facilitate administrative support services to other staff where required.
Your experience:
  • Minimum 3 yrs of relevant experience as book keeper / office administrator.
  • Previous experience within the construction industry is desirable 
  • Previous experience using Xero software
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited direction
  • The ability to address or escalate any issues in a timely manner
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Professional presentation
