Our family business located in the Rocklea Markets is looking for an energetic, vibrant and confident person to assume the role of Order Taking / Data Entry who enjoys working in a dynamic fast paced environment.

This position is a very demanding role and requires an individual who can operate well under pressure and has the ability to grasp procedures quickly.

Product training is provided however this is a fast paced office and the successful applicant needs to be able to 'hit the ground running'. As such we need someone who has previously been employed in a similar position with at least 12 months data entry (alpha numeric) experience.

As well as strong data entry skills the successful applicant will need to have great communication skills, be well organised and enjoy answering phone calls and liaising with customers.

The successful applicants will have the following skills, experience and attributes

• Previous experience in an administrative role supporting a team
• Proficient in data entry and touch typing
• Pleasant and outgoing phone manner
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Meticulous in your attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• Technologically capable with the ability to pick up new systems and software quickly
• Well presented and professional
• Be extremely punctual and reliable
• Accurately and efficiently take customer orders
• Knowledge of Excel and Outlook programs

  And most importantly be able to do all of the above with a positive and team orientated attitude.
  
  The position is casual for approx. 15-20 hours per week. Must be available to work between the hours of 4:00pm – 2am Monday - Friday. The rotation of the roster will include an occasional Sunday between the hours of 10am - 2pm.
  There may also be the requirement to work additional hours to cover staff leave.
