Recognition Learning is looking for an energetic and outgoing Administrative Assistant to join our Randwick Education Centre. This part-time role offers the opportunity to apply your administrative prowess as part of a creative and enthusiastic team.

Recognition Learning is passionate about delivering education and psychology services to children and adolescents, including individual tuition, counselling and psychometric assessments. We are looking for a switched-on administrative assistant who is always one step ahead.

Commences: 30 July 2018 (negotiable)

Contract type: Part-time

Contract hours: 8-12 hours per week (from 11am - 3pm, 2-3 days per week)

Remuneration: $22.10 per hour

As the Administrative Assistant, you will report to the Director of reCOGNITION Learning (who you will support on a day-to-day basis). Your work-outputs will be split into two areas of responsibility:

Administration:

  • Operating the front-of-house reception for our Randwick Education Centre
  • Dealing with clients (in-person, through email, and over the phone), fielding enquires and taking payments.
  • Liaising with external businesses to support the operations of reCOGNITON learning.
  • Printing, copying, laminating and organising business resources as required.
  • Other administrative tasks as required by the Director.
  • Operating in accordance with Child Protection and Workplace Health and Safety processes.

Marketing:

  • Crafting automated client communications (email) through MailChimp.
  • Arranging extant marketing content into digital and hard-copy promotional flyers.
  • Providing marketing feedback and insights to the Director, based on interactions with clients.

reCOGNITION Learning is a fast-paced business, where effective outcomes are based on exceptional and meaningful interactions with clients. To work well in the reCOGNITION Learning team, the Administrative Assistant will need to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Experience in understanding client needs and anticipating requirements ahead of time.
  • Ability to work with high levels of proactivity to independently drive the administrative arm of reCOGNITION Learning’s operations.
  • Capacity to think quickly and with confidence to solve issues that may arise from client interaction.
  • Strong and proven oral and written communication skills, with a capacity to communicate ideas with professionalism, tact and impact.
  • Ability to engage with children and families from a diverse range of backgrounds with empathy and passion.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to dress and present in a professional manner.

The Administrative Assistant will require a NSW Working with Children Check before they can begin working at reCOGNITION Learning.
