Our client’s head office is located in Newington and they are looking for an experienced Sales Administrative Assistant to assist their Sales team.  It’s a busy role that will offer a great deal of variety.

The role includes a despatch function, therefore documentation will be required for both local & international deliveries. International deliveries require liaison with freight agents/couriers in respect to the shipping requirements. Attention to detail is required to ensure all customer details, products and commercial values are listed according to contract & customs requirements.


Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Processing orders
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls
• Provide administration support
• Liaise with delivery companies
• Respond to email requests

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• You will be an Australian resident or have valid working rights enabling you to work longer than 6 months
• Willingness to learn and shows initiative
• A welcoming smile, friendly personality and ability to make people feel "special"
• Professional presentation and well-groomed
• Positive attitude and a great team player
• A strong work ethic and high levels of commitment
• Respect for confidentiality and discretion
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• 2 years experience in a similar role (desirable, not essential)
