Simon and Schuster, one of Australia’s fastest growing publishers, has a 3 month contract position available for an immediate start for a highly organised, detail focused Sales Admin Assistant to support our Head Office Account Managers. The role will focus on ANZ head office accounts and involves creating sales submissions, maintaining our database, checking orders, preparing sales materials, handling correspondence, and generally supporting our busy team.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced) and be comfortable learning new software programs. They will have excellent communication skills; enjoy juggling several tasks at once; be capable of working independently as well as being directed by others; and be comfortable dealing with contacts in and out of house, including customers and our warehouse team. They will ideally have experience in book publishing or bookselling but this is not a pre-requisite.
