Reporting to the Business Unit Head, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Segment Coordinator to be based in our North Ryde head office. This is a 14 month fixed term contract due to an employee secondment.
 
This role is responsible for providing support for areas and tasks that focus on the entire business unit and to support the achievement of objectives and actions of the Business Unit Head, National Sales, Technical Services, Marketing and Key account Managers within the business.
 
The Role:
 
  • Administration and event support to the Cattle, Sheep and Swine Leadership Team including management of Business Unit Head's calendar and appointments
  • Manage internal approval processes
  • Collation and assistance with performance management tracking materials
    Other responsibilities as required including team communications, arrangement of international travel, maintaining filing (including electronic files), processing mail and faxes, co-ordination of staff uniforms, and preparation of presentations
  • Co-ordination of Business Unit activities and events (Planning, logistics, materials preparation)
  • Planning and organization of Boehringer Ingelheim?s participation at key industry conferences
  • Planning and organization of internal events
  • Collaborate with Country executive assistant on national events, conferences and national initiatives
 
What you will have:
 
  • Degree and/or Event Management qualifications preferred
  • Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft suite of applications
  • Experienced with various administrative methods, processes and functions
  • Excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Exemplary communication skills both verbal and written
  • Impeccable time and priority management skills
  • Detailed planning and organising skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with high-volume workloads from multiple sources and competing deadlines and priorities
  • Previous experience in event co-ordination for 1-3 day conference and educational events for up to 500 people will be advantageous
  • Previous experience in administrative duties/role involving managing people in leadership roles will be advantageous
  • Previous experience in a customer focused function within the sales and marketing department will be advantageous
