Due to expansion, we are seeking a Group Life Insurance Administrator for a full-time position to provide efficient reviews, underwriting and claims administration in the Group Risk Administration team.  Ideal opportunity for a recent university graduate to commence their corporate career and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate documents required for claims and underwriting
  • Conduct premium calculations and membership reconciliations as per agreed policy schedule
  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Ensure all premiums are requested on time, followed up regularly and collected
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with our clients
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Become a proficient user of the CRM system
  • Ensure all data inputs are correctly entered
  • Demonstrate our values in all interactions with clients and staff
  • Comply with the Insurance Code of Practice
  • Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices 

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, mathematics or finance
  • Experience in an administration role (preferred)
  • A high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to use initiative / be pro-active
  • Demonstrated problem solving and resolution skills
  • Knowledge of general business and administrative practices
