Operations Administrator position in market leading company based in Alexandria.

Your new company

Your new role
You will report into the Technical Manager on a daily basis and work as part on a collaborative dynamic team.

Responsible for all operations administration relating to field and technical operations teams on a daily basis your duties will involve:

  • Providing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the management team.
  • Database management.
  • Checking monthly contractor reports/invoicing.
  • Entering purchase orders.
  • Updating employee rosters.
  • Process petty cash.
  • Organise recruitment of technicians including placing job advertisements, interviewing, reference checking, arranging pre-employment medical checks and on-boarding on new employees.
  • Job costing for various operation tasks.
  • Providing general administration back up to the technical Manager and Supervisors.
  • Create and maintain staff and company procedure files.
  • Daily communication with the field staff regarding installation/removal of structures.
  • Liaising across the business with internal departments.
  • Facilities Management.
  • Ensure OH&S documentation is updated and issued to staff.
  • General administration.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked in a similar role with the ability to work to tight deadlines, be adaptable to ever changing business requirements and have the ability to communicate well at all levels. You will also be an individual who strives for excellence and demonstrates a solutions focused attitude.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important to this role, having a good understanding of Pivot tables and V-Look ups is advantageous.
