Your new role
As the office Administrative Assistant, you will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our Company’s general activities.

  • Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff
  • Data entry of Purchase Orders and Supplier Invoices into MYOB
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Ordering and taking stock of office supplies
  • Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders
  • Preparing documents for meetings and business trips
  • Processing, receipting and directing mail and incoming goods
  • Preparing and sending outgoing mail and goods
  • Researching and booking travel arrangements for staff members
  • Filing and archive management
  • Updating and maintaining databases


What you'll need to succeed
You will need demonstrated success in a similar role, particularly with experience in a small team environment. The ability to interact confidently with staff and external clients at all levels, with a flexible and innovative approach, initiative, drive and a strong work ethic.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, prioritising and organisational skills. You will also need Intermediate level in Microsoft Office and MYOB.

Exposure or experience to email newsletter marketing and/or website design/development and maintenance would be a distinct advantage.
