The Company

Family owned and operated, this leading manufacturing firm seeks a skilled inventory and procurement officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. They continually develop their technology to make advances to their products, enabling them to stay at the forefront of their sector.

With an international footprint, this role has scope to deal with key stakeholders both on a national and international level. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role is key to adding value to the firms overall cost control strategy to maximise working capital.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this temporary to permanent opportunity will have some of the below responsibilities:

  • Develop inventory and stock control procedures
  • Stock administration and management
  • Forecasting and demand planning
  • Purchasing
  • Liaising with suppliers and creating strong relationships
  • Receipting goods and entering into system
  • Manage all stock take activities both on site and at all clinic locations
  • Collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders in relation to stock management

Your Profile

You will have proven experience as an Inventory control specialist and ideally have had exposure to procurement previously. You will pride yourself on your organisational skills and your ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. You will have a naturally proactive and up-beat attitude with an ability to use your initiative daily. You will interact professionally with all levels of management and consistently deliver high levels of customer service both internally and externally. You will have intermediate to advanced MS Office skills. Experience working within the manufacturing space will be highly regarded.
