Position overview
The Senior Operations and Contracts Administrator is integral to the efficient and effective delivery of Verdia projects. As a senior member of the Operations team, you will take a lead role in coordinating and reviewing tender responses, administering vendor contracts, purchase orders and variations, coordinating process improvement projects and completing ad hoc Operations tasks.
As part of our tender process, you will review inputs and draft tender recommendations to deliver the best possible outcome for our client. You will ensure each recommendation aligns with Verdia’s pricing expectations, project scope and current commercial landscape. You will follow up with our sales teams to confirm when tender recommendations have been accepted and then confirm vendor delivery schedules so that you can prepare and negotiate terms for vendor contracts.
This role also requires you to be able to identify any gaps in our current processes and recommend outcomes to fill any gaps. You will create relevant project plans and develop processes, systems and procedures to embed improvements into our operations.
You may be required to assist with processing invoices, compiling O&M documents, lodging LGC (large scale generation certificate) accreditation applications and assisting customers with general queries from time to time.

Your experience & qualifications
- Previous tender assessment experience
- Contract administration experience
- Demonstrated process improvement skills and experience
- Friendly and positive demeanour, with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in energy or construction is preferable, but not essential

Salary
Depending on your experience, you will receive $70K - $90K base salary, plus superannuation and bonus potential.
