Roblawmax is currently seeking the skills of a talented Contracts Administrator to join a client team who are overseeing the delivery of a major wind project in the Central West, NSW.  The position is working Monday to Friday and is ideally suited to a professional who can DIDO to site (3.5 hrs from Newcastle).

The position will initially involve providing assistance to the Contracts and Procurement team currently closing out one of Australia’s largest wind farms under construction, before moving to a new mega wind project from project setup and contractor management. You will report to the Project Manager throughout project execution who is overseeing the projects.

To be considered for this position you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering or Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience working as a Contracts Administrator on construction projects
  • Strong experience on remote projects in the resources, infrastructure or energy sectors
  • Able to work autonomously with demonstrated experience monitoring contractor performance during construction
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with construction contractors
  • Strong contractual awareness with the ability to negotiate (or refute) claims and variations appropriately
  • Highly organized with exceptional document control and record keeping skills
