Hunter Trade College is an accredited senior school for delivery of the NSW Higher School Certificate and is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The College offers students the opportunity to study for their HSC whilst commencing trade based training in the Electro-technology, Construction, Automotive, Engineering Mechanical or Engineering Fabrication trades.
The College is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to work within our Student Services team on a part time basis (30 hours per week) over 5 days per week. The primary focus of the role is customer service, administration, data entry, responding to student and parent requests, maintaining student records requirements, organising and contributing to with college activities such as enrolments, open days, parent teacher interviews etc.
To be successful in this position you will need previous experience in the maintenance of software systems; substantial administration and customer service/relationship skills and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a part of a team, be flexible, willing to support others as required, self driven with the ability to juggle varying priorities to meet deadlines.
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high volume, customer focused environment
- Demonstrated effective experience in a similar role
- Proficient computing skills using spreadsheet, word processing, internet browsing, email and student management software systems
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with College stakeholders
- Exemplary work ethic and a positive, friendly, can-do attitude
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Working with Children Check
Desirable Criteria:
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience in an educational environment
