A great opportunity is available for a reliable, proactive and flexible individual who wants a role with variety.  In this role you will report directly to the Branch Manager, and your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Complete administrative work according to the relevant procedures
  • Ensure our vendors and buyers receive a high level of customer service
  • Manage a team of 10, made up of receptionists, cashiers and administration officers
  • Train and mentor 2 supervisors
  • Make timely payments to vendors
  • Creating purchase orders and processing for payment
  • Accounts receivable collections
  • Team with employees, managers and Head Office to ensure the efficient administration and operation of the branch

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in an administration or accounts support position
  • A minimum 2 years' previous management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to providing an excellent customer experience
  • Sound MS Office skills and the ability to learn our user friendly auction system
  • Efficient, organised and able to manage time effectively
  • The ability to juggle priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to engage and empower a growing team
