Our client, a boutique accounting firm in north Melbourne are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the admin/support staff whilst developing and updating intra-office communication protocols, company policies and streamlining administrative processes. Enjoy working in a supportive and high-performing team. This role could see you develop into a Practice Manager in due course. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of admin/support staff including performance and workflow
  • Recruitment, induction and training of new admin staff
  • Update / introduce key policies and procedures
  • Manage key projects
  • Attend team meetings and assist with workflow and deadlines
  • Prepare operational reports for senior management
  • Assist the professional team with tax returns and financial reports 
  • Assist admin team with ASIC processing for clients
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments and bookings
  • General admin support where required 
To be successful in this role you will offer excellent communication skills both written and verbal, whilst being professionally presented. Coming from a professional services background you will posses strong admin skills and the ability to support a wide range of professional staff. With the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines you will be a proven leader who is hands on and flexible in their approach. Experience and knowledge of accounting  and taxation concepts and software is favourable but not essential.
