National property group seeking an Admin Assistant for the centre management team on an elite gold coast asset

Your new company
Our client is a well-established property group with a strong national presence, specialising in commercial and retail real estate. Working on the Gold Coast in newly refurbished offices you will be welcomed into a small team of proactive and ambitious professionals. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday with standard office hours, there is also free designated car parking on site.

Your new role
Reporting to the Centre Manager you will have the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and develop strong relationships with owners, tenants and contractors. This role is best suited to someone with a resilient nature who enjoys a high volume, varied work load. Main responsibilities include:

  • Reception duties
  • Customer service and retailer relations
  • Leasing administration
  • Financial administration
  • Complete monthly reoccurring billings
  • Ownership of extended trade billing for specialty retailers
  • Document preparation for monthly sales generation
  • Database management and maintenance
  • Answering overflow of telephone calls
  • Daily banking
  • Responding to emails
  • Administration support to the wider team
  • Management of public liability
  • Cash receipting and invoicing
  • Management of company compliance
  • Regular contact and follow up of debt related issues/ client liaison
  • Ensure all retailers conform to legislative, insurance and OHS requirements
  • Regularly review the level of operating expenses to ensure expenditure is within budget
  • Understand and analyse tenant leases
  • End of month reporting


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will ideally have proven experience in Shopping Centre Management OR advanced skills in excel or JDE. You will have a strong eye for detail and possess excellent reporting skills. Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Suite and Excel will lead to your success in this role. Candidates will be conversant with property and trust legislative agreements.
