Atlas Copco Specialty Rental serves customers in various industry segments around the world with temporary air, steam, nitrogen and power rental solutions.

 

Atlas Copco Rental Australia is seeking a committed Rental Coordinator to assist with the development of compressed air, power generation and associated product rental business based in Welshpool Perth. 

 

You will assume responsibility for all administrative tasks in the branch, from receiving rental enquiries through to customer invoicing. Also, provide support to other operational aspects as requested by the Regional Manager ensuring Customer Satisfaction and that Atlas Copco remains First in Mind and First in Choice.

 

Core responsibilities include:

  • Compile, process and manage rental contracts from start to finish with the use of the companies ERP system.
  • Communicate with the customer throughout the rental contract and undertake activities to develop customer loyalty.
  • Organising hires, compilation of Rental Agreements including logistical aspects such as transport and cranes.
  • Prepare documentation for hire equipment deliveries and returns and brief transport drivers on delivery and pick-up procedures and requirements.
  • General administration of the branch including purchase orders, accounts and invoicing.
  • Coordinate with the technicians to ensure field service, and routine fleet checks and inspections are undertaken. Ensure returned equipment is quickly made rent-ready.

 

Experience Requirements:

It would be advantageous to have rental and/or compressed air /power generation / mining / O&G industry exposure, sales or service experience, coupled with strong administration / co-ordination skills, in an industrial / technical environment.

 

Educational requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Good computer skills with a sound working knowledge of MS Office, ERP, applications
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Business to business customer service training, or similar via experience.
  • A Rental company background is advantageous.
  • Current Driver's licence
  • Fork-lift licence preferable, but may be obtained on the job

 

The desired applicant will be consistent, disciplined and a self starter. Able to operate autonomously, but with a team spirit.
