About the role:

You’ll report to Hydro Tasmania’s Manager Business Improvement & Office Administration, and you will deliver front-line Office Administration Services to the Momentum Energy business in Melbourne. You’ll build relationships, and provide seamless service and support to internal and external stakeholders through taking an organisation wide approach, and ensure work is completed and expectations are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:  

  • Responding to internal/external telephone queries
  • Responding to requests for service from internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing office administrative services – including (but not limited to) reception, scanning and printing, document formatting, purchasing activities, data entry and meeting/event support
  • Undertaking other administrative and project support work as required
  • Using appropriate methods of networking and positive influence to deliver a high level of office services
  • Providing support in the delivery of facilities related services
  • Support the Senior Service Officer as required

About you and your experience:

You have outstanding professional presentation, and you possess an energetic can-do attitude. Along with great written and verbal communication skills, you have a strong focus on providing superior service to a broad range of stakeholders.

Problem solving and using your initiative are second nature to you, your attention to detail is superior, and you’re not afraid to put forward your ideas for process improvement. You’re a team player, and you thrive on performing complex tasks and making a valuable collaborative contribution to your team’s outcomes and deliverables.

You have a minimum of 2 years of well-rounded experience in an administrative role that includes processing of financial transactions, invoice administration, reception functions and procurement activities. Experience in the operation of office equipment, such as Multifunction Centres, will be highly advantageous, as is experience in utilising the Microsoft Office Suite of products, databases and document management systems.
