About the Role
This role within our AQ Cairns team will provide professional financial administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a Team Leader, Teachers, Teacher Aides, and Allied Health Professionals.
This position will be offered on a permanent part-time basis at 3 days per week, business hours being 8:30am - 4:30pm. Flexibility exists regarding preferred days of attendance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and maintain NDIS service delivery records for all clients
- Data entry of NDIS service delivery records onto the NDIS spreadsheet for all clients
- Prepare invoices for self-managed and Third Party NDIS clients using Netsuite
- Liaise with the AQ Finance team (Brisbane)
- Provide reception and day to day administrative support for the Cairns Centre
- Respond to in-person, telephone, email and written enquiries and prepare correspondence as required
- Update and maintain client databases
- Provide administrative support to the Team Leader as directed

Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Proven time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
The following would be highly regarded:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration
- Experience working with the NDIS
- Experience working with children with ASD
- Database experience
- Administrative experience in the not for profit sector
Additionally, it is the responsibility of the employee to hold and maintain at their own expense, a current Criminal History Screening Card/s or relevant Exemption Card.
