Due to continued growth, Kailis Bros now has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the company in the role of Contracts and Logistics Coordinator on a 6 month Fixed-Term Contract basis with the possibility to extend. This role will be based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day responsibilities in processing orders and providing customer service for a major contract account in the Darwin area.

Role responsibilities:

Management of:

  • Customer service for assigned account
  • Orders and purchase orders for assigned account, including out of stock items and offering alternate lines where required to fulfil orders for customers
  • Receipting of goods into the system for assigned accounts
  • Customer complaints and any other customer enquiries

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Receiving inbound customer orders, and queries
  • Communication with the Canning Vale Head Office in relation to any account issues, new line performance and other information as required
  • Ad hoc sales support activities as required

Key Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in data entry
  • Experience taking orders and working in an FMCG company desirable
  • The ability to work autonomously as this role will be based away from Head Office
  • Good excel knowledge – intermediate level upwards would be a distinct advantage
  • Previous customer service experience essential
  • Demonstrated experience and aptitude for effectively dealing with customers in a pleasant and professional manner, including dealing with objections and complaints
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to self-audit
