Client Intake Officer – Port Lincoln
Temporary Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Leave)
Full Time - 8 Months
The Family Violence Legal Services Aboriginal Corporation (FVLSAC) is funded by the Australian Government for the provision of legal services to victim/survivors of family violence within Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities. The organisation has 3 service locations operating in South Australia with offices in Port Augusta, Port Lincoln and Ceduna. We provide free, confidential, accessible, safe and culturally appropriate legal service and support.
The Client Intake Officer is primarily responsible for undertaking client intake and data entry processes. This position requires high-level communication skills, which are adaptable to the needs of our diverse client base. You will understand the importance of confidentiality and possess a caring nature. Under the direction of the Operations Manager you will also carry out a range of general administrative duties related to financial services, facilities management, WHS and information systems. It is also a requirement of this role to provide reception coverage as necessary, to ensure staffing during business hours.
A professional telephone manner, good computer and organisational skills along with neat presentation will be important to your success.
The position will be full time, with hours to be worked between 8.30 am and 5.06 pm Monday to Friday.
This is a temporary fixed term contract position to cover a period of maternity leave; however there may be the possibility of extension.
