There is currently an opportunity for an Administration Assistant/ Office Allrounder to join our professional team in Bella Vista, NSW.  If you are looking for security and are looking to be a part of a growing business, this may be the opportunity you are looking for.  

Our business offer mobile dental services to schools and communities. 

Due to company expansion, we are seeking an administration assistant/ office allrounder that can process medicare claims, eftpos transactions and inventory control and distribution as well as updating and maintaining the inventory database..  You must have a good work ethic, love variety, have a cheerful attitude, be able to work within a team as well as unsupervised, have great initiative and a servant heart.
 

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Office Administrator, your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering telephone calls, answering emails, queries, and arranging delivery of stock to the clinics.
  • Adhoc administration duties including but not limited to: filing, photocopying, scanning documents to folders, spread sheeting etc.
  • Entering invoices and bills in to an accounting software package/spread sheet and balancing against bank statement. 
  • Maintaining a inventory database via our software, other software programs and other online applications with attention to detail.
  • Creating proposals and other printable material with accuracy and as required.
  • Receiving stock deliveries and packing it on shelves.
  • Providing administrative support to the executive team and sales consultants including restocking office supplies and other ad hoc duties of an office allrounder.
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with the Company's associates.

Skills and experience

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in the use of all MS Office products and internet experience a bonus – or ability and willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Capable of prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new requirements, work well under pressure and demonstrate a "can do" attitude
  • Self motivated and able to work autonomously in a quiet office environment
  • Professional presentation
  • Previous experience in the dental industry a bonus
