About the Centre

After an 18 month and $27.3 million redevelopment, the Oak Park Aquatic Centre is nearly ready for its grand unveiling at the end of October 2018. The redevelopment has added a state of art 24-hour gym, multipurpose and group fitness room and spinning studio whilst ensuring the entire facility is accessible and safe for all ages and abilities.


The outdoor aquatic area comprises a heated 50-metre pool, a 20-meter learn to swim pool, two waterslides and a children's play pool with water play equipment.


The Centre is open all year round with the aquatic areas open from 1 November through to 30 April and all pools heated to approximately 28 degrees.

About the role

An exciting opportunity to set a strong sales and member retention culture at the newly redeveloped Oak Park Aquatic Centre. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of membership and program sales including lead generation, handling enquiries, conducting tours, sales, new member administration, ongoing member support and development of member and participant relationships.  

Selection criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in membership sales and member retention
  • Proven ability to manage daily reporting requirements with Sales Desk or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and support for all staff
  • Ability to set and meet goals and deadlines
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Friendly and approachable with a strong customer service focus
  • Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • HLTAID003 Apply first aid or equivalent
  • HLTAID001 Perform CPR or equivalent
  • Working with Children Check
  • ACF Safeguarding Children & Young People Certificate (completion online prior to commencement)
