Are you an Administration Assistant currently looking for an amazing temporary opportunity that is available for an immediate start and has the high possibility of going permanent within 3 months?  This is the perfect opportunity to work in the construction industry in a down to earth team who will fully train you!

 

Within this role you will perform a variety of administrative duties supporting an Engineer and 2 Estimators.  You will enjoy being part of this successful organisation who offer their employees stability, a great team environment, flexibility and an interesting role.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Database maintenance - register new tenders/update tender status in the CRM system
  • Set up tender folder on system and file invitation, tender drawings, specs, etc
  • Maintain tender status for team
  • Setting up and sending out technical requests for materials supply and construction sub contract quotes (you will be trained how to do this!)
  • Follow up requests to ensure submission received before closing time
  • Receiving, filing and collating quotations
  • Checking each quote in comparison to request
  • Collate file copies of various tender documents, PDF then submit
  • Filing all relevant documents including scanning
  • Ad hoc duties to support the team

 

You will be perfect for this role if you have the following skills/attributes:

  • Available for an immediate start
  • Ultimately wanting a permanent position
  • Experience or knowledge of the construction industry highly regarded but not essential
  • Solid formatting skills
  • Happy for 7.30am start – open to either full or part time hours so finish between 2.30-4 depending what you are after!
  • Solid computer skills in MSOffice
  • Great communication skills
  • Team player attitude – willing to help other team members!
