Hudson is proud to be assisting one of Canberra’s Independent Schools with a rare opportunity for a Senior Personal Assistant in a Permanent position. Our client prides themselves on providing quality education and mentoring young people into successful respected members of society.
About The Role
This role will best suit a professional, immaculate, mature and experienced Personal Assistant who prides themselves in providing pro-active and quality support with previous experience within the Education Industry, busy operational environments or a Complex Private Sector Organisation, wanting to work within the schooling sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication is required as you will be required to liaise with a range of stakeholders at various levels. Your key responsibility is to provide high-level one on one support including:
- Diary, calendar and email management
- Draft and prepare correspondence
- Stakeholder management
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Manage the Director’s time, priorities and workflow including some personal priorities
- Facilitate in the Director’s presence in the School and community
- Collaborate with key clients and school staff
- Project management and coordination
About You
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Personal Assistant within the Education Industry, busy operational environments or a Complex Private Sector Organisation and have effective management of confidential information. Other key attributes and experience include:
- Manage highly confidential informatio
- Ability to plan and organise - prioritise, schedule, use available resources, drive workflow, problem solve and manage competing deadline
- Aptitude for learning new internal IT systems and proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Outstanding influential communication skills including verbal, listening and written
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Capability to work efficiently with frequently changing and conflicting priorities
- Project administration experience would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility, enthusiasm and a pro-active mind set
