You will be part of a young and dynamic team and based in our South Eastern suburbs headquarters in Notting Hill located next to Monash university. We are a market leader and multi-disciplinary engineering company operating in the Energy Sector worldwide.
This is a 12-months contract role with an opportunity to develop into a permanent part-time or full-time role for the successful candidate. Expected required availability is 25 to 40 hours per week with flexible hours, depending on the workload. Salary: $27/h + Super – potential to move into a permanent position.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Purchasing
- Obtaining quotes and sourcing components necessary for the success of the project based on our Projects Team instructions.
- Raising purchase orders with suppliers.
- Assisting in updating and maintaining a procurement database to keep track of current price levels and anticipate upcoming variations.
- Logistics and warehousing
- Receiving and inspecting of goods coming into the warehouse.
- Labelling, packing and arranging appropriate shipment of materials to our overseas fabrication facilities.
- Confirming product conformance as per purchase order specification.
- Stock & inventory support
- Office management and administrative support
- Supporting management team with administrative tasks
- Booking and coordinating travel arrangements
- Developing and implementing new office processes
- Assisting with the taking of Minutes of Meetings
- Ordering stationary supplies and utilities
