About the business

Safe Dig have been in operation for over 25 years and are Queensland's premier supplier of vacuum excavation, pipe jetting and service location.

About the role

This is a busy and varied role working with a small team, which will suit a highly motivated applicant who is looking to expand their knowledge and experience.

No two days are ever the same in the office. Do you have what it takes? Immediate start and flexible working hours.

Your duties would include but are not limited to:

  • Basic Reception duties including answering and directing incoming calls
  • Maintenance of processes and procedures including WHS and maintenance records upkeep in relation to major contracts.
  • General secretarial and administrative support and record-keeping
  • Obtaining quotes and organising accommodation or similar
  • General data entry and filing
  • Various other adhoc duties as required by the role

This would suit a recent school leaver or junior personnel looking to gain experience and knowledge of the corporate administration industry. You will have a professional and positive approach to your work along with good communication and confidence. Immediate start and working hours can be flexible, though we are looking for someone with full time availability.

Skills and experience

To be successful you will demonstrate:

  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both verbal and written
  • Computer usage knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs, including knowledge of excel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Great Initiative, problem solving skills and can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
